thanks for posting this (will have a good listen after work). been keeping an eye out for Leong's stuff since hearing about his work through Kinetics nice blog - to no avail so far.

I'm a fan - looking forward to copping the LP myself next week. But, Modular (who are distributed by Universal here in Australia) have a crazy pricing strategy. I wouldn't be surprised if you could pick this up cheaper in the U.S. than it will retai…

found some nice things at Second Life in Amsterdam (it was a couple of years back tho'). think there may be a map on the city guide?

congrats to every body involved. finally got around to voting, been going back and listening to beats all week - tough choice. looking forward to the next one.

I've not seen this before, thanks for posting. good fun. a bit like that Mikey Dread/dread lion one but more developed.
-
good for you man - hope your great day continues. (happy B'day to your little girl)

you're right, very different bands. two of the guys from Pond (one of them in Tame) have another project called Allbrook/Avery. as far as I can tell nothing has been released yet (even though the youtube clip says the album is out) I really d…

from what I know, Kevin played almost everything on Innerspeaker (and does again on the new album). and although at times sharing the same line-up, I think Pond have suffered from weaker song writing and poorer production. that said, the last …

found some nice stuff at Crocodisc when I visited (several years back) http://www.crocodisc.com/English/english.html

nice! looks like you get around (in a good way)

thanks for posting - looks interesting. dude was always pretty big in Australia as well (toured here '79 & '81 and then again just a few years back I think). 'I wonder' was AM staple here for some time.

20 years together and she still regularly makes me feel like the luckiest man on the planet. puts up with all the usual crap - record store time ("I'll only be one hour".....), LPs in the bedroom, me sneaking her books off the shelves so I can st…

thanks for the help Bassie. here's one for a mellow summers day

One G plus 3 'summertime' (sorry, don't know how to post a video yet...)

great photos. always wanted to visit a pressing plant, but in my neck of the woods, that ain't gonna happen..... (I think there is but one left in Australia) thanks for posting these.

I wish it was worth that much! still, a cracking track that 45 that's had a shit load of plays around my way (and will get plenty more).

forget Steve Aoki's rider, imagine what a promoter might have to dish up to get Paris to come and 'rock the house'. high on the list seems to be a miniature flag of whatever country she's appearing in (I knew I was forgetting something when I DJ).

RAJ said:Funny how the greatest rock bands are obviously from the UK... But all those band unabashedly stole from US negro blues? isn't this what all the great white American rock bands did as well?

definitely all gone a bit pete tong! looks like a mixmag list from a decade ago.
-
also covered by Hype Williams on their last album I think. can't imagine that OG vocal ever being bettered though - killer!
-
I'm amazed anyone involved in this gave it their OK- utter rubbish! lame version, really lame video.
-
way to make an already boring song seem fucking interminable. I'd be looking for something to gouge my ears out with after the 4th time around.
-
I'm new around these parts, so missed any previous talk about this album. gotta say thanks to the strut for showing me - that cover is so good. I got no real desire to hear it, but the cover makes me wish I was Doin' Thangs.
-
I know not enough to say GOAT, but something by the 13th floor elevators? Splash 1 is a track I go back to over and over again - but I think the first 2 albums are solid as.

I thought the Stark sample story was cool at first - then I thought Monty's lawyer(s) probably loved it as well. c'mon, Will.i.am.is.RICH! I'm glad Monty got paid, but just pay the dude what you really owe him, don't make him jump through hoop…

regardless of how he got there, I'm curious as to why he was speaking at a climate change event - could they not get hold of Bono or something? I imagine it would be like inviting our environment minister to speak at a hip hop conference.
